LANCASTER, Ohio — Anchor Hocking will partially reopen its Lancaster plant this week, but it is also planning a permanent cut in jobs there, the glass-maker’s parent company said Monday.

EveryWare Global Inc. is not saying when this week the plant will reopen or how many jobs will be cut. More than 1,100 people work at the Lancaster plant when it is at full capacity.

EveryWare has been trying to stabilize its finances since the May 15 announcement that its first-quarter results were so poor that the company had violated terms of its credit agreements.
