BASKETBALL OFFICIATING CLASS: The Northwest District Basketball Officials Association is sponsoring a course for anyone interested in becoming a certified basketball official with the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA). The course will be held at Whitmer High School from November 9, 2010 through December 14, 2010. Classes will meet in the Science Auditorium from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm every Tuesday and Thursday. HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Friday's 7 p.m. St. John's Jesuit versus Central Catholic City League football game at Central's Gallagher Stadium is expected to be sold out. Fans are advised to secure tickets at the schools during the week as it is anticipated that no tickets will be available on game night. No passes will be accepted for this game. Tickets are $4 for students and $6 for adults, and are available at both schools during regular school hours.
