ARTISTS PUT HISTORY ON PERRYSBURG HIGH SCHOOL WALL

11/8/2006

Seniors and advanced art students Brad Conyers, from left, Jo Eberts, and Meg Kettinger work on a mural that will decorate the Commons in Perrysburg High School. The trio has been working on the project for the last six months - except for the summer - doing research, drawing the mural, and now painting it. Work is done while school is not in session because the art is high up, suspended over a stairwell and accessible by skyjack only. The mural has portraits of Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, Tecumseh, leader of the Shawnee tribe, and President William Henry Harrison.
