Kelsey Hatfield, a senior from Haskins, plans to major in accounting and play softball on a college team as a pitcher. She has a 3.4 grade-point average and has maintained an A average in mathematics since the ninth grade.

Kelsey tied the school record for most strike-outs in a single game, and is a recipient of the Captain's Award and the soccer coach's award.

A member of Young Life, Kelsey volunteers at her church and has participated in several mission trips.

Principal David Drewyor said he is impressed that Kelsey has kept up her grades while participating in a number of extracurricular activities.

"She is very cooperative and respected by both staff and students," Mr. Drewyor said. "She is enthusiastic and represents Otsego High School in a positive manner."

Kelsey is the daughter of Doug and Rebecca Hatfield.
