•Christmas at the Community Center, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 6 at 8115 Monclova Rd. Kids can visit Santa, write him a letter, and make an ornament at his workshop. Holiday crafts and gifts, baked goods, lunch, live music, and decorated trees. Details: 419-861-1336.

•Angel Tree and Canned Food Drive to help needy area families. Take an angel tag from the tree in the community center, purchase the item listed, wrap the gift, and return it to the Monclova Community Center, 8115 Monclova Rd., by Dec. 17. •Holiday Magic Show, 7 p.m. Dec. 11, Maumee Library presents Gordon the Magician.

•Tis the Season to be Jolly, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 6, Holland Branch Library, South McCord Road. Stories, crafts, and snacks. Must register: 419-259-5240.

•Waterville Senior Citizens meet 11:30 a.m. Dec. 11 and the second Thursday each month at the Neighbors on Dutch Road. Reservations: 419-878-4826.

•Rock n' Roll Christmas in Waterville, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 6. Children's activities, and scavenger hunt in Peddlers Alley and George Carruth signing at Garden Smiles. Lunch with Frosty the Snowman at Smedlap at 11:30 a.m. Pictures with Santa at Jim Gladish Studio at 1 p.m. The Waterville Girl Scout Troops will be caroling around town, live Nativity at Zion Lutheran Church at 3:30 p.m., and the Tree Lighting at Old House Courtyard at 6 p.m. with music.

•Holiday Ornament for Teens, 2 p.m. Dec. 6, Waterville Library. Teens create an ornament from a CD, decorate cookies, and have hot chocolate. Registration required: 419-878-3055.

•Story-telling party for grades K-6 at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 6, Whitehouse Library, 10651 Waterville St. Youngsters create holiday decorations. Parents are asked to stay with their children. Details: 419-877-9088.
