South Toledo

Highland Heights Neighborhood Association meets at6:30 p.m. second Thursday monthly in Toledo Heights Branch Library, 423 Shasta Drive. All South Toledo citizens and business owners invited. Open house, noon to 2 p.m. March 1, Our Lady of Perpetual Help School, 2255 Central Grove near the Anthony Wayne Trail and Sherwood Avenue in South Toledo. Students entering pre-school through eighth grade are invited to tour the school with their families and meet teachers and staff. The Catholic school has about 350 students.

Perrysburg

Chili dinner, 5:30-7 p.m. Feb. 27 in Maumee High School. Proceeds to Citizens for Maumee Schools. Maumee students and the mini-Panther cheerleaders will entertain. Bowling Green

The Bowling Green Swim Club will host the fastest swimmers in the state aged 14 years and under March 13-15 at the BGSU natatorium. Six hundred swimmers who have achieved times complying with the USA Swimming and entry into the Junior Olympics championship will compete against swimmers in their age group. Morning preliminary sessions begin at 9 a.m. each day. The top 16 swimmers from the morning session will compete in finals at 5:30 p.m. on March 13 and 14, and at 5 p.m. March 15.

Holland

Springfield High School will present the play Thoroughly Modern Millie at 8 p.m. March 13 and 14 and at 2:30 p.m. March 15 at the school, 1470 South McCord Rd. The Toledo Stamp Expo will be from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Feb. 28 and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. March 1 at Holland Gardens, 6530 Angola Rd. The U.S. Postal Service will have a substation and special hand-stamp cancellation available during the show. Twenty-plus dealers and competitive exhibits highlight the show. Admission and parking are free.

The Holland Springfield Spencer Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting/potluck dinner at 6 p.m. Feb. 26 at its office in the Holland Community Building, 940 Clarion Ave. The topic will be discussing and documenting the location of businesses in the community. The potluck begins at 6 p.m. followed by the discussion. Bring a dish.
