'Makeover' family to give talk in Perrysburg

3/10/2010

Toledo's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition family, Aaron and Jackie Frisch, will share their experiences Thursday at Perrysburg High School's annual Humanities Night.

The Frisches, who adopted nine children including five from Haiti, will talk about Haiti, adoption, their struggles, and the hope that sustains them.

The theme for the night is "We Will Endure: Images of Hope" and will feature videos on Haiti and poverty both abroad and in this country by nationally acclaimed cinematographer Gerry Straub. Students also will be presenting their humanities projects. The event, which runs from 6 to 9 p.m., is open to the public and is appropriate for children 10 and older. It will be in the auditorium and commons at the high school, 13385 Roachton Rd.
