Safe driving is key to high school event

6/30/2010

Up to 110 teens can participate in the KeyBank's Key to Safe Teen Driving program at Perrysburg High School from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 22. There is no fee to enroll. The program is aimed at teens who have a temporary learner's permit or a driver's license.

Teen drivers can skid on the pavement, and learn about the dangers of texting while driving, during a program designed to improve driving skills and raise awareness about the importance of proper training for young drivers.

The program is being conducted in conjunction with The Mid-Ohio School with support from Kumho Tire USA.
