Waterville City Administrator James Bagdonas said no resolution has been reached over a local water and sewage dispute, an issue that brought dozens of people out to a city council meeting in April.

“Their lawyer is talking to our lawyer,” Mr. Bagdonas said, adding that the city has not been sued.

Rev. Jeff Wheeland has said Fallen Timbers Community Church was unfairly being charged double for water and sewage services. The church arranged for water with the village of Whitehouse after not hearing back from Waterville.

Now, Waterville city officials want to build water and sewer lines on the church’s property at 7215 Noward Rd.
