Springfield Township will begin collecting leaves on Oct. 31, and end around Dec. 16, depending on the weather, said Mike Hampton, director of public services.
The trustees said leaves will not be collected in apartment complexes, mobile home parks, and from private streets and roads.
Residents are asked to rake leaves in rows along the edge of the curb, but not in the street. Grass, trash, branches, stones, and other materials must be removed.
Leaves should not be placed between cars, nor behind utility poles and mailboxes.
