Yard-waste recycling facility open to residents

BLADE STAFF

Waterville's municipal yard-waste recycling facility opens for the season Thursday, and residents may pick up membership cards that allow free drop-offs.

The facility at 6730 Anthony Wayne Trail, operated by Clean Wood Recycling, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.

City membership cards are available at the Waterville Municipal Building, 25 N. Second St., weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Cards may be laminated for $1 at the yard-waste facility's gate.

The membership cards will be the only identification accepted as proof of residency to allow free drop-offs.
