7 local scouts honored for top Eagle Scout rank

Seven Toledo-area Boy Scouts from Troop 104 were recognized for attaining Eagle Rank, the highest rank possible during a recent court of honor ceremony at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Maumee.

Honored were: Jacob Dziubec and Bryan Johnson of Toledo; Isaac Schulz of Rossford; William Lemle of Monclova, and Eric Oatis, Tristan Hoffman, and Nicholas Garber of Maumee.

Only 2 percent of all Boy Scouts attain the Eagle rank, Jim Dollman, assistant scout master for Troop 104, said. Dan Anderson is the group’s head scoutmaster.

More than 150 people attended the event.
