Fulton Co. seeks volunteers to pick up litter
8/25/2014Fulton County is looking for volunteer groups to pick up litter from roadsides, parks, and other public lands in the spring.
Groups are encouraged to contact the county public utilities department and provide a name, contact person, cleanup area, dates for the cleanup, and supplies needed such as trash bags or gloves.
In other news, vehicle tires can be disposed of at the Fulton County Transfer Station at 9306 County Rd. 14, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 27 and Oct. 25. There is a limit of four tires per household. The dropoff is available only to residents.
