COLUMBUS, Ohio Ohio has reached a settlement with two woman whose sexual harassment complaints led to last year's resignation of former Attorney General Marc Dann.

Cindy Stankoski and Vanessa Stout will each receive $247,500, which includes attorneys fees.

Stankoski and Stout filed sexual harassment claims against a top aide to Dann early last year.

The claims, which led to the firing of aide Anthony Gutierrez, led to the unraveling of Dann's administration and his own resignation in May.

Dann admitted that he had an extramarital affair with an employee.

Attorney General Richard Cordray, who took office earlier this month, released a joint statement with the women's attorney Wednesday praising their courage in shedding light on the conduct of the office.
