WARREN, Ohio — Fire officials say a man, woman and two girls have died in a house fire in northeastern Ohio.

Firefighters received a call about the blaze in Warren at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday. By the time they arrived, the beige two-story house was engulfed in flames.

Assistant Fire Chief Dan Suttles says no one was able to escape from the wood-framed home. He says the man was identified as 32-year-old Edtwan Kimble but that the coroner has not positively identified the other three victims. He says Kimble had been staying at the house.

The state fire marshal's office says investigators didn't find smoke alarms in the home.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Suttles expects the state fire marshal's office will release findings on the fire's cause on Monday.
