CINCINNATI — A country music singer's namesake bar in Cincinnati has settled a legal dispute with a developer over unpaid rent.

Developers sued Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill in February, saying it was three months behind on rent. The bar responded that developers had violated an exclusivity agreement.

Carter and the Dawson Company are developers of The Banks area along Cincinnati's riverfront. A Carter executive says the developers are pleased that the lawsuit has been dismissed with the settlement.

The bar that takes its name from one of Keith's hits is owned by Capri Concepts.

Terms of the settlement weren't made public.
