STRONGSVILLE, Ohio — Striking teachers in a Cleveland suburb still haven’t reached an agreement with the school board after another marathon bargaining session.

WEWS-TV reports that Strongsville teachers wrapped up a 13-hour negotiating session early today with no progress as the strike entered its seventh week.

It was the eighth session with a federal mediator since the strike began March 4.

The strike over salary and working conditions at the district southwest of Cleveland involves close to 400 teachers and about 6,300 students. Parents and students are pushing to an end to the walkout, and some have staged demonstrations at school board headquarters.
