AKRON, Ohio — Around 200 people turned out for a candlelight vigil for the four young adults slain at an Akron townhome last week as police continue to search for suspects and a motive.

The Akron Beacon Journal reports that the memorial took place Sunday night at the housing complex where the two men and two women were found dead in the basement of a townhome Thursday.

A coroner’s report said all were shot in the head.

The men were identified as 24-year-old Ronald Roberts and 23-year-old Kem Delaney, both of Akron. The women were identified as 19-year-olds Maria Nash and Kiana Welch.

Robert’s mother, April Roberts-Gilbert, pleaded for witnesses to come forward who could help police solve the case.
