CLEVELAND — A $41 million Ohio lottery jackpot has been claimed in a trust in northeastern Ohio.
The lottery said Tuesday the lump-sum payout, after taxes, was nearly $21.3 million. The winning ticket for the March 12 Mega Millions drawing was purchased at a deli in the Cleveland suburb of Westlake.
Media reports said 14 employees in an office pool in the accounting department at Travel Centers of America, a truck stop company in Westlake, will split the prize. They had been playing the lottery for 11 years.
The deli gets $41,000 for selling the winning ticket.
