Teen gunned down near Cleveland library

CLEVELAND — Police say an 18-year-old man was fatally shot outside a Cleveland library.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Mustafa McWhorter of Cleveland.

The Plain Dealer said it happened outside of a Cleveland library branch on the city’s far west side.

A report said the teen was walking with another male near the library when a red pickup truck pulled up and someone shot him in the side. His body was found near the library’s back door, and he died later at a hospital.

There have been no arrests reported.
