CONSTANCE, Ky.  — Police in northern Kentucky say a body pulled from the Ohio River may be the remains of a man seen jumping from the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge.

The Kentucky Enquirer reports that Boone County Water Rescue officers recovered the body from the river after someone on a pleasure boat spotted it just after 3 p.m. EDT Sunday just down river from the Anderson Ferry Boat Co. in Boone County.

Officials investigated after the unidentified man was seen jumping from the bridge Thursday night, but couldn’t locate the body Friday.

Boone County sheriff’s deputies and the Boone County Coroner are investigating. The identity of the man was not immediately released.
