SHARONVILLE, Ohio — Authorities say a high-speed chase spanning parts of western Ohio ended north of Cincinnati when police set out devices to deflate the fleeing vehicle’s tires and captured three of its four occupants.

Sharonville police say the vehicle reached speeds above 120 mph during the pursuit down Interstate 75 and onto Interstate 275 on Tuesday evening. A sheriff’s helicopter team tracking the car spotted four people run away after it was disabled, and police tracked down three of the suspects. Police say a young man who ran into the woods wasn’t found.

No one was hurt during the chase.

WLWT-TV reports several law enforcement agencies further north had tried to stop the speeding vehicle but called off those segments of the chase because of the speed and the suspects’ reckless driving.
