Car smashes into central Ohio day care; children were inside, but no one seriously hurt
6/9/2014COLUMBUS — Authorities say no children were hurt when a car driver accidentally smashed through the front of a central Ohio day care facility.
Police and a day care manager tell local media that the employee driving the car mistakenly accelerated into the building today on the west side of Columbus. Children were inside the building, but no one was seriously hurt.
The building was evacuated and the day care was closed for the day. Investigators were inspecting the facility to see if there was structural damage.
