Governor appoints Lima man medical school trustee

Phillip L. Trueblood, a Lima financial manager, was recently appointed by Gov. John Kasich to the Cleveland-based Northeast Ohio Medical University Board of Trustees through Sept. 21, 2026.

The governor also reappointed Matthew L. Rubin, of Toledo, to the Ohio Commission on Service and Volunteerism through April 21, 2020. The commission was created in 1994 to encourage volunteerism and community service, particularly under the AmeriCorps program.
