'Bachelor' star Pavelka eliminated from 'Dancing With the Stars'
4/27/2010LOS ANGELES — Jake Pavelka got misty-eyed when he learned he was leaving Dancing With the Stars.
The Bachelor star was eliminated from Dancing Tuesday.
He came into the results show in last place, receiving 21 points out of 30 for a samba that judges said lacked rhythm. Their scores are combined with viewer votes to determine which celebrity is ousted each week.
Reality star Kate Gosselin, astronaut Buzz Aldrin, and actors Shannen Doherty and Aiden Turner were eliminated on previous episodes of the ABC dance-off.
Still in the running are singer Nicole Scherzinger, Olympic figure skater Evan Lysacek, actresses Pamela Anderson and Niecy Nash, sportscaster Erin Andrews, and football star Chad Ochocinco.
