'The Bachelor' booted from 'Dancing'

A Dallas businessman, Sean Lowe, also known as "The Bachelor," was eliminated Tuesday night on "Dancing with the Stars."

Sean Lowe of The Bachelor is the latest celebrity cast off ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.

Lowe and professional partner Peta Murgatroyd struggled Monday night with their tango and jazz routines, mustering only sevens from the judges for a combined score of 42 points. In the celebrity dance competition, the judge’s scores are combined with viewer votes to determine who is eliminated from the competition.

Joining Lowe and Murgatroyd in danger of elimination on Tuesday night were country singer Kellie Pickler and partner Derek Hough and partner and NFL star Jacoby Jones and partner Karina Smirnoff.

Other celebrities remaining in the competition are Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman, actor Ingo Rademacher, and actress/singer Zendaya, who on Monday tallied this season’s first perfect 30 from the judges for her salsa.

Olympic figure skater Dorothy Hamill withdrew because of an injury; country singer Wynonna Judd, reality star Lisa Vanderpump, comedians D.L. Hughley and Andy Dick, and boxer Victor Ortiz were previously eliminated.
