Detroit Tigers agree to terms with 6 players for 2014 season, including RHP Jose Valdez

DETROIT — The Detroit Tigers have agreed to terms with six players on contracts for the 2014 season including right-handed pitcher Jose Valdez.

Other players that the team announced Monday that it reached agreement with are left-handed pitcher Casey Crosby, catcher Ramon Cabrera, infielders Jordan Lennerton and Eugenio Suarez and outfielder Daniel Fields. Contract details weren’t disclosed.

The contracts give Detroit 25 players on the team’s 40-man roster under contract for the season.
