UT sets Midnight Madness

The University of Toledo will introduce its men's and women's basketball teams Friday at its annual Midnight Madness program.

Doors will open at 10:30 p.m., with free beverages and pizza to the first 1,000 fans.There will be shooting and slam dunk exhibitions at midnight, followed by a women's scrimmage, then a men's scrimmage, on the earliest date allowed by the NCAA.

Admission is free, and free schedule posters will be available for autograph signing from 10:30-11:30 p.m.

The Rocket men will open their season with an exhibition game against Wayne State on Nov. 14, with the regular season commencing on the road at Vanderbilt on Nov. 19.

The UT women open with an exhibition game Nov. 14 against the Ohio All-Stars, with the regular-season opener at home Nov. 19 against Cincinnati.
