Gradkowski to play in Hula Bowl

University of Toledo quarterback Bruce Gradkowski has accepted an invitation to play in the Hula Bowl all-star game on Jan. 21 in Honolulu.

The game will be broadcast live on ESPN.

Gradkowski, a senior, had earlier agreed to play in the Las Vegas All-American Classic on Jan. 14.

Gradkowski ranks third in the Mid-American Conference and 20th in the nation in passing efficiency. He is the first player in NCAA Division I-A history to complete more than 70 percent of his passes in consecutive seasons (2003 and 2004).

He is UT s career leader in touchdown passes (73), completions (689) and passing yardage (8,225).
