New contracts for UT's Evans, Jorgensen

The University of Toledo women's soccer coach Brad Evans and swimming and diving coach Lars Jorgensen have agreed to new contracts.

Evans' contract runs through the 2009 season. Under Evans, the Rockets have won the last two Mid-American Conference tournament championships, advancing to the only two NCAA tournament appearances in school history.

Evans has a career record of 129-86-17 in 12 seasons as a college coach, including 62-60-15 in seven seasons at UT.

Jorgensen's contract runs through 2010. His team is 10-2 in dual meets this season (6-0 Mid-American Conference).
