The University of Toledo women's cross country team is one of 13 schools to receive an at-large bid to the NCAA Division I championships.

The meet is scheduled for Nov. 22 at Indiana State University.

The top two teams from nine regionals qualified automatically. Toledo finished third in the Great Lakes Regional and is ranked 30th nationally.

Toledo is just the fourth MAC school to qualify for the nationals and the first since 2002.

“We felt all year that we are talented and tough enough to make it,” coach Kevin Hadsell said.
