Wisconsin eyes UT coach Cullop, reports say

University of Toledo women's basketball coach Tricia Cullop is a leading candidate to be offered the same position at Wisconsin, according to several published reports.

Multiple people with knowledge of the situation confirmed to The Blade on Tuesday that Cullop will interview with the Badgers, or has already done so.

Cullop, however, said Tuesday in a text message to The Blade that she has not been contacted by the Badgers.

UT is scheduled to host a rally at 6 p.m. Thursday at Savage Arena celebrating the Rockets' WNIT championship, their first postseason national title in school history.

Cullop has posted a 72-30 record in three seasons at Toledo. Prior to that, she was the head coach for eight years at Evansville, where she went 123-110.
