UT football player arrested for assault
University of Toledo football player Damien McIntosh has been charged with felonious assault stemming from an alleged altercation with his girlfriend last Friday.
According to the complaint, McIntosh, of 3711 Willow Run Dr., was a passenger in a car driven by Christina Tomusko and is accused of punching her in the face with a closed fist several times. Tomusko suffered nasal fractures, facial contusions and minor head injuries, according to the complaint.
McIntosh, a junior defensive end for the Rockets, is being held in the Lucas County jail on a $25,000 bond.
He has a preliminary hearing June 2 at 9 a.m. in Toledo Municipal Court.
