Remy commits to play for UT

BLADE STAFF

The University of Toledo football program has received its 10th known commitment for the 2012 recruiting class.

Running back Marc Remy of North Olmsted (Ohio) High School gave coach Tim Beckman a nonbinding verbal commitment last weekend.

Remy (5-11, 185), a two-star recruit according to Scout.com and rated as the seventh-best running back in Ohio according to OhioVarsity.com, reportedly also had offers from Ball State and Cincinnati.

Per NCAA rules, Beckman is not permitted to comment on any incoming recruits until they sign a national letter of intent.
