University of Toledo junior wide receiver Eric Page on Monday was named Mid-American Conference West Division offensive player of the week.

The Springfield graduate posted a season-high 13 catches for a career-high 158 yards in UT's 33-30 overtime loss at Syracuse on Saturday. Page totaled 279 all-purpose yards in the contest, including 114 yards in kickoff returns.

Also during the game, Page passed Steve Odom (216 catches, 2003-06) and moved into third place on UT's all-time career receptions list with 219 catches.

UT freshman kicker Jeremiah Detmer was also named MAC West special teams player of the week.

Detmer kicked a 52-yard field goal as time expired in the first half. It was his first career attempt and the second-longest kick in school history. He also averaged 67 yards per kick on five kickoffs.
