UT gets 4 more verbal commitments
1/23/2012The University of Toledo football team picked up four verbal commitments over the weekend, bringing the total number of players in coach Matt Campbell's first recruiting class to 25.
Committing to the Rockets are Pittsburgh Penn Hills receivers Corey Jones and Chaz Whittaker, defensive end Allen Covington of Seffner, Fla., and defensive tackle Orion Jones of Jenks, Okla.
Covington and Jones are three-star prospects by Rivals.com, while Jones and Whittaker are two-star prospects. National Signing Day is Feb. 1.
