3/19/2012The University of Toledo women's basketball team led by 26 points at halftime and cruised to a 72-51 win over Cincinnati on Monday in the second round of the WNIT at Savage Arena.UT (23-9) will host VCU at 7 p.m. Thursday in the third round.
Senior Courtney Ingersoll set career highs with 24 points and six 3-pointers. Yolanda Richardson came off the bench to score 14 points and Andola Dortch pumped in 13.
Cincinnati (16-16) shot 4 of 26 (15 percent) in the first half and went in the locker room trailing 37-11.
