Rockets realign women's basketball staff
6/12/2013The University of Toledo is realigning its women's basketball coaching staff.
Katie Griggs is moving from assistant coach to director of operations. Rebekah Legan, the former director of operations, is taking Griggs' coaching spot.
The changes, according to a statement released by the school, are due to Griggs' desire to spend more time with her family. She will not recruit in her new role.
Legan spent the past two years as director of operations.
“I’m very excited about this opportunity, and I look forward to taking on the new responsibilities associated with this position,” Legan said. “The past few years I have been able to take on tasks in many different areas of coaching behind the scenes, and now I’m thrilled about the chance to do off-campus recruiting and get on-court coaching experience. I feel very blessed to be a part of a successful program at a great university and continue to learn from a tremendous coach.”
