The 2013-14 schedule, released today, shows the Rockets playing the Boilermakers on Nov. 17 and the Flyers on Dec. 22. Both opponents advanced to the second round of last year's NCAA tournament.

“We’re thrilled to host two teams who not only made the NCAA Tournament, but also advanced to the second round," coach Tricia Cullop said in a statement. "Both games will be great measuring sticks for us. I hope our fans circle both those dates as “must-see” games.”

The Rockets will open Mid-American Conference play Jan. 4 at defending tournament champion Central Michigan. Toledo will play East members Ohio and Miami twice as part of the conference's new 18-game slate. After holding an exhibition game in early November, UT’s season officially tips off on Nov. 9 against 2013 WNIT champion Drexel (28-10, 13-5 CAA) in the opening round of the Glass City Tournament. Chicago State (4-26, 2-6 Great West) is the other team set to participate in the two-day invite.
