Two high school juniors from the Dayton area recently committed to the University of Toledo women’s basketball program.
Unique Conner, a post from Xenia, and Halee Printz, a combo guard from Tipp City Tippecanoe, are the first and second pledges in Toledo’s 2015 class. The class could grow by one before the November, 2014, signing period.
Conner, who is 6-foot-2, led the Greater Western Ohio Conference in rebounding last year and averaged 10.7 points. Xenia was 2-16.
Printz, who is 5-9, averaged 13.4 points and 4.3 assists a year ago, helping Tippecanoe to a 13-11 mark.
