Rockets overcome sluggish play for 77-61 win over Sam Houston

    After a poor first half the University of Toledo basketball team came alive for a 77-61 home win today over Sam Houston.

    The Rockets, who trailed at halftime 30-28, move to 9-0. They will try to match the 10-0 start of the 1998-99 team on Tuesday at Arkansas State.

    Justin Drummond scored a game-high 18 points. J.D. Weatherspoon (16 points), Jonathan Williams (15) and Rian Pearson (12) also were in double figures.

    Toledo set season bests with 21 assists and five turnovers.
