Robinson, Bootland score 2

CINCINNATI - Toledo jumped out to a 4-0 lead en route to a 5-2 victory over the Cincinnati Cyclones at U.S. Bank Are-na to retain the best record in the East Coast Hockey League.

Nathan Rob-inson and Darryl Bootland, who were reassigned to the Storm this week from Grand Rapids, each scored twice.

Bootland started off the scoring for the Storm, picking up his 16th goal of the season at 10:35. The Toledo left-winger added his 17th in the third period at 0:54.

Robinson found the net for his fourth goal of the season at 16:50 in the first period and his fifth at 4:15 in the second period.

Robinson has five goals and seven assists in five games with the Storm. He had an assist to go along with his two goals against Cincinnati last night. It was his third three-point effort while with Toledo.

The Storm's Matt Ellis was credited with the team's other goal, his 19th, at 11:03 in the second period.

Toledo goaltender Doug Teskey stopped 44 of 46 shots. Cincinnati's Yutaka Fukufuji saved 14 of 17 shots before being placed by Gregg Naumenko, who allowed two goals in 16 shots.

Toledo returns home tonight to meet the Louisiana Ice Gators at 7:30 p.m. and will face the Wheeling Nailers tomorrow at 3 p.m.

The Storm has won five straight games at home heading into this evening's contest.

The IceGators are on a four-game swing through the Northwest Division, including a 4-3 loss last night in Peoria. This will be the only meeting of the season between the Storm and the IceGators.

Toledo leads the season series with the Cyclones 6-1-1. Last night was the final game for the Storm at Cincinnati during the regular season. The two teams will meet again the final weekend of the season for two games in Toledo.
