Nestrasil returns to Walleye from AHL

Forward appeared in 22 games with Grand Rapids Griffins

The Toledo Walleye got some good news in the form of forward Andrej Nestrasil returning to the team following his reassignment from Grand Rapids.

Nestrasil appeared in 22 games this season with the Griffins, the Red Wings AHIL affiliate, collecting three goals and three assists. The native of Prague, Czech Republic was fourth in scoring on the Walleye in 40 games with 11 goals, 30 assists and a plus 17 this season. The 22-year-old appeared in 51 games with Toledo last season, collecting 29 points (7g, 22a).

Down 2-0 in games to the Cincinnati Cyclones, the Kelly Cup series resumes on Wednesday night when the Walleye travel to Cincinnati for Game 3 in the best-of-seven series.
