Walleye get leading scorer back

The Toledo Walleye will have their leading scorer back in the lineup for their contest against Wheeling today.

Forward Trevor Parkes has been reassigned to Toledo from the American Hockey League's Grand Rapids Griffins.

Parkes has scored 16 goals to go along with 16 assists for 32 total points in 26 contests.

Over the last three years, the native of Fort Erie, Ontario has skated in 48 ECHL games and has 34 goals and 32 assists. The 22-year-old has also appeared in 86 games with the Griffins over his career.

Toledo hosts Wheeling at 5:15 p.m. today.

The organization is expected to welcome its one millionth fan through the gates today. The fan will be honored by the team during the game.
