Walleye to hold moment of silence, wear TFD decal on helmet to honor fallen firefighters

The Walleye organization will hold a moment of silence prior to its game tonight in honor of the two firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty on Sunday.

The Toledo players also will wear special decals on their helmets in honor of Pvt. James Dickman and Pvt. Stephen Machcinski for the rest of the season.

The organization will hold the moment of silence prior to faceoff of the Walleye's 7:15 p.m. game against Cincinnati.

The players also have signed two jerseys that will be raffled off on the main concourse. All proceeds will benefit the Toledo Fire and Rescue Foundation.
