WHEELING, W.Va. — Wheeling defenseman Mike Ratchuk scored a goal and assist, while forwards Max MacKay and Sahir Gill each added two assists Wednesday night as the Nailers topped the Toledo Walleye 4-1 .
Kyle Rogers scored the lone goal for Toledo (16-26-3), which sits in last place in the ECHL Eastern Conference.
David Gilbert and Maxim Shalunov each had an assist on Rogers’ power-play goal, his 11th of the season.
Kieran Millian made 21 stops for the Nailers (22-19-6) while Toledo’s Mac Carruth finished with 26 saves.
The Walleye went 1-for-3 with the man-advantage while Wheeling was 0-for-3.
Toledo heads to Kalamazoo on Friday for the final game of a five-game road trip. The Walleye have gone 2-2-0 during the stretch and will return home Saturday for a contest against Cincinnati.
