Walleye fall to Orlando


Aaron Clarke scored two goals in the Toledo Walleye's 4-3 loss to the Orlando Solar Bears tonight at the Huntington Center.

Bobby Shea gave the Walleye a 1-0 lead 28 seconds into the game, but Scott Tanski tied the game for Orlando with 43.8 seconds left in the first period.

Clarke gave the Walleye a 2-1 lead with less than seven minutes left in the second and Tyler Murovich tied the game for Orlando with 12:20 left in the third.

Taylor Matson gave the Solar Bears a 3-2 lead at 11:54 of the third and Clarke's second goal tied the game at 3-3 with less than five minutes left, before Matson scored his second goal with 1:44 left in the third.

The Solar Bears handed the Walleye their eighth straight loss. The Walleye face Greenville at 7:15 p.m. March 1 at the Huntington Center.
