Notes: Toledo (18-34-4) enters a three-game weekend homestand on a two-game winning streak. … The Walleye swept Cincinnati last weekend. The team's 4-3 overtime win on Friday night snapped a franchise record 11-game winless streak (0-10-1). … With 16 games left, Toledo is last in the Eastern Conference and is 23 points out of the last playoff spot. … The Walleye play six straight at the Huntington Center and 10 of their final 15 games at home, where they are 9-17-0. … The Walleye will be without six of their top 10 scorers due to various roster moves. … F Aaron Clarke was traded to Orlando on Thursday in exchange for future considerations. Clarke had produced 19 points in 26 games since being acquired in a trade with Kalamazoo on Jan. 7. … G Hannu Toivonen returned to the team from a call-up on Friday and earned two straight wins. Toivonen (9-8-0) has won five straight starts and has a 3.56 GAA overall. … F David Gilbert is the leading scorer with 30 points (14 G, 16 A). … Toledo is 3-5-0 against Kalamazoo (35-18-5) this year. … The ice will be painted green for a weekend St. Patrick's Day celebration. The players will be wearing green jerseys on Saturday. Those will be auctioned off with proceeds going to the Toledo Fire and Rescue Foundation. Fans are asked to bring nonperishable food items to donate to the Seagate Foodbank and Cherry Street Mission. ... More than 10,000 tickets have already been sold for the Walleye's two outdoor games that will take place in downtown Toledo next season. The Walleye Winterfest will be a 10-day event at Fifth Third Field. It will include the first two outdoor games in ECHL history. The games will be played on Dec. 27, 2014, and Jan. 3, 2015.
