With temperatures well below the freezing mark, a snow-covered field lies eerily silent under gray skies along Fulton County Road F near Pettisville. Snow or flurries are in the forecast at least through the weekend, with highs no warmer than the midteens and overnight lows as cold as 9 degrees on Saturday.
