An Ohio Department of Transportation snowplow works on U.S. 20 just south of Elmore to clear blowing snow. Most of the area yesterday escaped the high snowfall totals predicted, but strong winds caused some drifting on secondary roads. The forecast for the remainder of the week shows periods of sunshine rather than snow, though temperatures will get no higher than the low to mid 30s.
